During the discussion it was also agreed that due to Melvyn's work commitments, he will not be at home during most days, and as club members seem to think it is the club office!

Rob Parkin's Telephone number would be the new regions contact number, but the e-mail would stay the same and the e-mail would be the preferred contact.,

Rob would pass on any query he could not deal with to the appropriate person.

Item 2. Apologises:

Dave Brentnall (FLU)

Item 3. Minutes of Last AGM:

The minutes of the last AGM were distributed. Proposed by Barry Gordge and seconded by Tony Calvert.

One comment from Barry was"Please could we not have the minutes printed on blue paper next year" This was agreed by all present.

Item 4. Chairman's report:

Melvyn reported another successful year, "taking over from Glen, I hope I can carry on his good work he started" . The support and hard work and commitment of the other members on the committee kept the region moving forward. Tony's arranging of Z register members involvement in South East Region events proved a great success, and the rest of the committee is functioning well.

An extended thanks go to those regional members who attended our events during the year and it is hoped to have their continued support in 2005.

Events of interest and of note during 2004, which the region organised and supported, were:

April: Weston Park for the second year running

May: The Bigg Run in aid of the Hospice in the Weald

May: National AGM at Cosford

May: Enfield Motoring Pageant, our first year at this exciting show

June: ETCC at Donington park

July: Our main and very successful event of the year our region concours at The Hop Farm

August: National event at Gaydon

August: Our trip to Spa 24 and Nurburgring plus our visit to RBM.

August: Formula BMW at Brands Hatch

September: Guards Polo Club

December: Christmas Lunch with Father "Ron" Christmas

Monthly Pub meetings still continue to be well supported and prove to be an excellent way of meeting throughout the year, especially during the winter. All these events and meetings add up to another active and successful year for the SE Region.

Item 5. Treasurers report: by Selwyn and Rob

Selwyn reported : As from last year we now have no region financial statement balance sheet , just a float of £100.

The region only claimed £60 for the Blue and White bunting Glen purchased before the Enfield Show

and I claimed £70 for petrol , for towing the caravan to the National event at Gaydon, but the five committee members who helped out at the event concours judging and manning the region stand, did not claim the £25 per person for expenses or take up the offer of lunch they were entitled to.
