Bimmerfest, Donington – Shakedown
We have now had a look at an alternative venue at Stoneleigh if the Donington exhibition centre is closed – we still await confirmation from the manager of the Donington centre as to what fate awaits it in 2007.
BMW Clubs Europa (BCE) – Latest update
A draft constitution document from the ‘dissenting clubs’ has now been forwarded to the International Council for their perusal/approval.
New Club Premises
Nothing new to report on this issue – I did tell you in the last centrepoint that nothing was imminent regarding the purchase of new premises!
Concours
There is a lot of interest generated on the club forum regarding concours issues – the Concours Committee has informed us that Jim Hutson will visit the forum and give advice/answers were needed.
National Festival 2007
I can confirm that the National festival will take place at Gaydon on Sunday 5th August with set up on the Saturday.
Delegate Day 14th April 2007
We have booked a room at the National Motorcycle Museum for the inaugural delegates meeting – we hope you can all find the time to attend. The meeting will be kept very informal with small focus groups discussing various issues, followed by a Q&A session at the end. A reasonable contribution to petrol expenses will be available – full details, including times, expenses etc will be forwarded on by the Club Secretary.
